I read through the comments already left regarding the Reunion. I heartily agree. The Reunion Committee did an excellent job! My unofficial count put those gathered Saturday night at 200+. Considering 44 years of ~600 people pursuing a wide variety of paths, the turnout was more than remarkable. The turnout was no accident. People came from far and near to attend. The internet facilitated this event, but some folks did the hard work of working the internet. Many, many, many thanks to the Committee (and spouses) for the work and thought that went into the event. I was sorry that Dee Dixon wasn't there, but her committment to support breast cancer research must be applauded. Having her call in by cell phone made Dee and her concern part of the event. Great idea. I found many expressions of caring commitment expressed in the biographies. The "Memory Book" was great.

We must have been a close-knit class, maybe more close-knit than we would have imagined. I think too, we have learned many things during our years apart and this event has allowed us to become more close-knit, at a deeper level, than we were in 1963. There were some very good things about the Flint we grew up in. There was something very good about Central. I had the privilege of attending school with great people!

Again, thanks to the Committee. Thanks to Flint. Thanks to Central.

Looking forward to next time,
