It's Tuesday and I still haven't fully recovered my voice. I can honestly say I haven't had so much fun in a long time. I can't remember the last time that I laughed out loud so much or received so many welcoming hugs. Watching everyone laughing, joking, dancing and having such a good time made me realize what we have missed all these years and I think that is why everyone I spoke with wants another reunion next year. It made me proud that a bunch of 62 year olds eligible for Social Security could still act like we were still in high school with all the interaction and funny stories. Being reunited with so many old friends made all the work everyone did totally worth it. All evening I heard raves about what a great job the committee had done. You, Steve and his wife deserve the most credit and I certainly tried to tell everyone that. Sunday afternoon after arriving home after the breakfast I had a pretty depressing let down. Then I realized how many old friends I had reconnected with and how I was determine we would keep in touch. And then of course there is the planning for next year and I got excited all over again. We encouraged all who took pictures to send them to the web site so I will be watching closely to see what develops. Will see you soon at our next meeting which I think is Sept 22. I had plans for that weekend but I changed them as I didn't want to miss a thing.

Wow, this reunion was spectacular!! I was so nervous, but shouldn't have been. People were very very nice. There was just an extremely warm and nurturing atmosphere. In fact, I will never forget this experience. It is preserved as an all time wonderful memory. Thank you again for all of your work with the website, which has been so useful and now so much fun to look at.

I had the best time at our reunion weekend! I could tell that
everyone felt the same. I honestly felt sad to leave. On
the plane ride home I found our directory to be compelling reading.
We went to school with an amazing group of young people who became
amazing adults. Not only that, but our reunion revealed a
congenial, warm, and really fun bunch of "older" people. Lots
of smiles and hugs. Thank you again for everything!
Let's get together again!

This is Carol Main. I want to thank you for all the time you put in to the reunion. It was wonderful! So great to see so many of our class mates from all over the USA. I spoke with your husband, but I'm not sure he remembered me. I remember you. Do you still have those cute dimples and blond hair????? I remember you from Longfellow, gee I think that's where we met. A big THANKS to you and all the others who worked on our class reunion.
Love, Carol Main Archer
Response to Carol Yes, we went through Longfellow together and those cute dimples and blond hair are still part of my persona. However, the face has filled OUT so the dimples have become age lines and the blond hair, only my hair dresser knows for sure! Dee
